Fall is my favourite season and the best season for going on walks with our kids in the bush behind our house. We also grow our own pumpkins for eating, decorating and carving. The artwork for this tea towel is inspired by nature finds on those walks and by the pumpkins we grow in our patch. All of my artwork is hand painted and then scanned and turned into a pattern before printing.
This Autumn Leaves and Pumpkins Tea Towel is made of 68% cotton canvas and 32% linen and is digitally printed in Canada. The pattern is printed on the front, the back is white with a white loop for hanging.
Size: approximately 17” wide by 26” before washing.
Care:
For first wash, wash with 1 cup vinegar and 2 tsp salt in a washing machine full of water. Dry immediately after washing. For subsequent washing use full water cycle and wash separately from other laundry for first 2-4 washes. Expect some minor shrinking.
After initial washes: Machine wash medium, tumble dry medium. Linen cotton canvas will naturally have a lived-in look after laundering but if you prefer, use a warm iron on the backside of the fabric for a crisper look. Do not bleach.
